Self Portraits

The continuous development of self portraiture work constructs the female form as a distinct and constant tool through which control of my own body is exercised. The work is an application of the universal right, and duty, of women to communicate and demonstrate their experiences in the way that most empowers them. The images demonstrate an exploration of femininity, emotion, and sexuality. The environmental portraits utilize feminine facets of traditional imagery and integrates their use into her work as a visual narration of her experiences as a woman.
